Herbie the 10-year-old Pointer-Vizla cross is less than two weeks into his recovery, but he’s already back on his feet and proving how brave he is. In a video posted by his owner @Yogaglowgoddess—real name Rachel Brown—Herbie can be seen walking along the side of a country road while wearing his lead. Whenever a car drove past, Herbie stopped in his tracks, but after his mom gave him gentle encouragement, he started walking again....

Federal Judge Amy Berman Jackson ordered the Justice Department to turn over a memo from March 2019 that Barr had cited as the reason for not charging Trump following the investigation by former special counsel Robert Mueller into claims of Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election. Police launched an investigation after the incident in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, on Sunday afternoon. The girl and her father had been walking along Pinfold Lane at around 3.30 p.m. when they approached four teenagers who were on bikes, police said in a news release. After the child told the group they should return to their homes, one of the teenagers spat into his hand and wiped it on her face, police said....

Authorities say Tom Cutinella, a player for Shoreham-Wading River High School, died at a hospital Wednesday night after suffering a head injury during a game with John Glenn High School in Elwood. A spokeswoman for the school districts tells Newsday that Cutinella had been in the intensive-care unit after undergoing surgery. Suffolk County police say the collision happened about 6 p.m. Cutinella, a guard/linebacker, was injured during the third quarter of the varsity game....

According to The Associated Press, the teenager was surfing at Wilsons Headland at Wooli Beach in New South Wales when he was attacked. A shark bit the teen’s leg, resulting in “severe injuries” for the victim following the attack. Early police reports had said that the boy was 17, but it was later corrected that he was 15. Other surfers helped the boy get to shore for medical help. He was given CPR, but he died at the scene....

Sage Curry, 19, was arrested in the city of Largo on Monday and charged with two counts of first-degree murder and burglary, a police affidavit said. He is now being held at Pinellas County Jail without bail. Court records did not list an attorney for him. Police Lieutenant Scott Gore said his team were called to a home on 8th Avenue NW just before 2 a.m. that morning after Curry alerted a neighbor and asked for help....
