Frank Deleon Jr., 17, was arrested and charged in connection to the shooting death of his 16-year-old ex-girlfriend Diamond Alvarez on Monday. The Associated Press reported that Deleon was “attempting to pack his bags to flee” when police went to arrest him, according to court records. On January 11, Alvarez was taking her family’s dog, Peanut, on their typical evening walk at a nearby field, the AP reported. However, her family became concerned after hearing gunshots in the area knowing Alvarez was outside....

Police in Lake Oswego said the two deer heads, which were dumped on lawns in the Palisades neighborhood, were reported to police hours apart on October 29. The following month, the department announced that 19-year-old Thomas Jakmauh had been charged with two counts of second-degree disorderly conduct and two counts of offensive littering. Jakmauh pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct in Clackamas County Circuit Court last week. The other charges were dismissed....

Delaware State Police troopers were called to 1000 block of Red Lion Road, in New Castle, at about 7:15 p.m. local time on Sunday following reports of an accident. Police said in a statement that the teenager had gotten into a 2006 Mitsubishi Raider while his 6-year-old and 3-year-old brothers were on the vehicle. A spokesperson for the Delaware State Police said in a public statement on the force’s website: “The operator [13-year-old] stopped the vehicle at the edge of the driveway, and at this time his 6-year-old and 3-year-old brothers, grabbed the side of the passenger side doors and stood on the running boards....

Houston police received a call shortly after midnight about a major single-vehicle crash at the Sam Houston Tollway/North Freeway interchange, one of the busiest areas for drivers traveling to the metro area. The Louisville Metro Police Department said on Twitter that the incident occurred at around 6:30 a.m. local time Wednesday morning as the three individuals were waiting at a bus stop near Dr. WJ Hodge and Chestnut Streets. This pair of teenagers accidentally crossed the Canada-United States border while playing the game. According to officials from the Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency, the duo were apprehended by US Border Patrol agents on Thursday night, after illegally entering the US.
