On January 15, Monmouth County SPCA responded to a call after a teen boy stumbled on the animal while walking between houses on Bangs Ave, Neptune, New Jersey. The executive director of the MCSPCA, Ross Licitra, told Newsweek: “A young boy was walking between houses by an empty lot on Bangs Avenue and he saw what appeared to be a rubber-made container that he’d never seen before. He wound up looking inside of it and when he did, he discovered the alligator....

The Hollywood Police Department received a call Sunday night regarding a man who was “going house to house” on a bicycle in the Emerald Hills neighborhood while attempting to break into cars, the Associated Press reported. According to reports, the clip in question shows one female student at Valier High School in Montana acting out being killed while wearing a red skirt, similar to that associated with the Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) movement. The Last of Us 2 is another title that is well-known for its lesbian protagonist, Ellie, and the second game continues to introduce fans to other queer characters as well. In this sequel game, the player runs into Lev, who fans realize is a trans man as they journey further through the story. While it was nice to see this inclusion in another major title, many fans were upset by the way Naughty Dog treated Lev....

The Maharashtra Open 2019 will be the 23rd edition of the ATP 250 tournament being held in India, but only the second time that it’s being held in Pune. Prior to 2018, the ATP 250 in India used to be held in Chennai. Gilles Simon emerged the winner from the singles category last year, defeating South Africa’s Kevin Anderson 7-6(4), 6-2 in the final. Simon and Anderson will be taking part in the tournament this year as well....
