Boykin originally hurt his wrist in a 61-58 loss to Baylor in October, but played through the injury late in the season with a soft cast protecting the fracture.

One of the most improved players in the country last season, Boykin set TCU single-season records for passing yards (3,901), touchdown passes (33), touchdowns responsible for (42) and total offense (4,608).

Boykin is expected to return for voluntary workouts in about five weeks, but will miss the final three of TCU’s 15 spring practices.
