The Tekken franchise is one that prides itself on having a diverse cast of characters from regions all over the world. There are characters from Britain, the United States, Brazil, Japan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Monaco, and more. Even NieR Automata’s 2B was nearly a guest fighter in Tekken, apparently. The newest DLC fighter will be from Poland.

The Tekken 7 DLC trailer is only 35 second long, but over half of it is text, intro, and outro animation. The important footage starts with a few shots of what looks to be a European country. This quickly shifts to imagery of someone getting out of a car while speaking Polish with subtitles. The text reads, “I must win for the people of Poland.”
The upcoming Polish Tekken 7 character who walks out of the vehicle is a woman, and the words “Prime Minister” were used right before she started talking, so it seems like she potentially holds a position in politics. It will be interesting to see how this fighter stacks up against the best fighters in Tekken as more is revealed. Fans will not have to wait too much longer to find out the details, as the next DLC character is joining Tekken 7 in early spring 2021, according to the teaser.
Tekken 7 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
